Current Networking Issues:

The news of the second half of 2004 is undoubtedly the arrival of Windows XP Service Pack 2.  This upgrade to Microsoft's flagship desktop operating system should more fairly be called XP2, so radical is the change under the hood.  Security features have been added, the way Internet Explorer acts within the operating system has been changed, code has been examined for flaws, and the list goes on.  For most people the changes are necessary, useful and easy to accommodate - but if you are running custom written applications or are using vertical market or industry specific software the changes may be enough to render your software unusable.  Please contact us before migrating to XP SP2, but please also prepare to move to SP2 as it is a real step forward.
